Your help with this project is needed and appreciated. Please help expand our database and add information for services in your area.
The Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990, Title II, requires that acceptable alternative transportation be available in every area of the country for people who are significantly vision-impaired. MD Support is working to create and maintain a comprehensive national database which will help to locate such transportation services and document the accommodations they provide.
According to several state surveys, acceptable accommodations for the vision-impaired should include:
Accommodations known to be offered by each transportation service are listed in the search results, along with their contact information. No travel agencies, hotel shuttles, or rental companies are included in this database. If no alternative transportation for the vision-impaired is available, regular services may be listed for that area.
The information in this database is entered by state agencies, customers, organizations, and transportation service representatives. MD Support is not responsible for the reliability of the data entered. If, however, inaccuracies or omissions are noticed, please email us, and we will strive to make the necessary corrections.
