Impact On Your Life
It's hard at times. There isn't public transportation in the area that I live. I rely on my mom for most of my transportation.
Positive Effects
I'm very lucky to live in the state of tenn. Through the state of Tennessee I was able to become a self-employed manager of a vending machine business at one of the most stopped at rest areas. I have one employee, which is my mom.

CCTV. Books on audio.
Employment
Self-employed vendor at a rest area for the state of Tennessee. Facilities such as post offices, court houses, prisons and colleges are managed by people who are blind or vision impaired. It's a great program. Other states should offer this to their blind and vision impaired residents.
More About Me
My passion is my love for music and my dog. I'm a lead guitar player in a band. I've been playing guitar since high school. I also give guitar lessons. I'm 33 years old now and I've managed with the vision I have. The two most affected areas of my life are not being able to drive, and I have to use a CCTV for reading. Overall, I think I do pretty well. I'm still hopeful that someday there will be something to improve my vision. I think it will be cell replacement. A lot of research is being done on that right now. Until then, we just have to make due with what we have.
