Vision
Cell transplant would solve all my problems. RS said in three or
four years it will probably be perfected. Red convertible, here I
come.
Family History
Mother was diagnosed one year after I was. Mother's sister
diagnosed years ago. Distant relatives have been diagnosed with MD.
All females.
Impact on My Life
In every way imaginable.
Positive Effects
It got me out of the bowling alley where I owned a snack bar. Do
not have to listen to how dry the lanes are anymore. (In all
actuality, I would give anything to be back there with my eyesight
intact. Retirement would be only a year and a half
away.)
Adaptations
CCTV, Zoomtext, binocular glasses for computer, telescopic glasses
for distance' talking calculator, food scale, alarm clock. Raised
adhesive dots on everything.

More About Me
I have two children and three grandchildren. In May 2000, I moved
to NJ to live with my sister-in-law, her husband and father. In
August 2001, we will be moving to Milford, PA for a slower pace of
life and quieter. It will also be closer to my hometown.
