| February | "Participating in a Clinical Trial" This is the second in our series of presentations selected from the Visions 2012 conference, sponsored by the Foundation Fighting Blindness. Dr. David Birch covers the many aspects of a clinical trial a patient should know before participating in one. Topics will include inclusion and exclusion criteria, what to expect during study visits, open-label versus placebo controlled studies, and why clinical trials are important.
